• D-Link received a Taiwan Excellence Silver Award on May 19th, 2008 for energy saving and material re-usability of its DGS-1008D GreenEthernet Gigabit switch product. The annual Taiwan Excellence Awards Selection is supervised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan, and organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). In 2008, a total of 601 Taiwan products participated in this competition in four areas: R&D, Design, Quality and Marketing, and 29 products earned awards.
